One person was shot and killed and another was hospitalized following a shooting in Kalamazoo late Saturday night.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety identified the victim as Paris Anton Powe, 34, of Kalamazoo. The shooting happened around 10:25 p.m. Monday in the area of Egleston Avenue and Reed Court. Police say Powe was found inside a vehicle, and he was pronounced dead on scene.
