Ever since early August, when it was reported that Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo wouldn't be renewing their AEW contracts, every sign has indicated that the tag team known as The Lucha Brothers are heading to WWE.

While The Lucha Bros are likely heading to WWE, it’s not a done deal just yet. Earlier this week, it was reported that Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix had signed multi-year deals with WWE. But a new report states that isn’t actually the case.

A pair of WWE legends recently hinted that they are likely to return to the popular promotion after a brief stint with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
