The Baton Rouge Police Department is attempting to identify a person who they believe is responsible for a shooting on Greenwell Springs Road.

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a man accused of shooting another man after an argument. Kelly Downey Jr., 22, was charged with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.

The Colorado Springs Police Department said they were investigating a possible shooting on Friday. Officers were called out to reports of a possible shooting at 1236 Potter Dr., west of Mitchell High School on Friday evening around 7:30.
