Typhoon Pepito intensifies; wind signals up over more areas
Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi) continues to “rapidly intensify”, which prompted the state weather bureau to raise Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) over more parts of the country Friday afternoon.

Typhoon Pepito continues to pick up strength as it moves west northwestward over the Philippine Sea, PAGASA said in its 2 a.m. weather bulletin.
