According to a press release, Google states iPhone users can begin downloading the new dedicated Gemini app via the App Store. One of the app's standout features is Gemini's image generation capabilities. The post states the AI leverages the Imagen 3 model for "high-quality" and "stunning" imagery.

In the AI chatbot world, ubiquity is everything. Companies have raced to build desktop and mobile apps for their bots, in order to both give them new capabilities but also to make sure they’re right in front of your face as often as possible.

The Android app came out in February, but Apple users only got a limited integration within the main Google app, which doesn't have advanced capabilities such as Gemini Live.
