The University of Akron Zips boarded buses Friday afternoon heading to South Carolina, where they will play the South Carolina Gamecocks Saturday evening.

Brice Stadium for the first night game of the year. The Gamecocks open as huge favorites in this game as they look to head into the bye week 3-1 on the year, while Akron tries to play spoiler to those plans.

South Carolina will try and start 3-1 for the first time in seven years and bounce back from a heart-breaking, 36-33 defeat to No. 16 LSU.
