After a very slow start to the season, the Houston Astros have once again proven their AL West superiority. Well, almost. Despite having one of the best second halves in baseball, the Astros have yet to secure a spot in the MLB playoffs.

With the MLB postseason just around the corner, the teams that will compete for the World Series this year are starting to come into view. However, many have not secured their spot just yet. That used to include the New York Yankees.

However, many preseason predictions had the Guardians below the likes of the Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins. Alas, here we are. With less than a month until the postseason begins, the Cleveland Guardians are back atop the AL Central,
