午後３時のドル／円は、前日ニューヨーク市場の終盤から小幅ドル安／円高の１４２円前半で取引されている。米金利の低下を受けてドルは売りが先行した。日銀金融政策決定会合の結果発表後に一時上下する場面もあったが、影響は限られた。

アジア新興国通貨は堅調。米大幅利下げを受けたリスク選好の買いが続き大半が上昇して週を終える見通しとなっている。 タイバーツは９週連続の上昇となる見込みで、２０２０年６月以来最長となる。マレーシアリンギは景気拡大見通しに支えられ２２年３月以来の高値付近での取引が続いている。 バークレイズのアナリストは「米利下げで新興国市場や幅広いリスク資産が押し上げられ、目先はさらなる上昇が予想される」と指摘した。

国債先物中心限月１２月限は、前営業日比１９銭安の１４４円４７銭と続落して取引を終えた。日銀政策決定会合が無風通過し、市場参加者はこの後の総裁会見に注目している。新発１０年国債利回り（長期金利）は同１．０ベーシスポイント（ｂｐ）上昇の０．８６０％。
